The Effects of Injury Scholarship

The personal injury lawyers at Lucas Macyszyn & Dyer, Injury Lawyers are proud to introduce The Effects of Injury Scholarship, created in recognition of the many individuals whose lives have been changed by preventable accidents. Each day, we see how injury victims are affected not only in their physical abilities, but also in their mental, emotional, social, and all aspects of life. We are continually inspired by their strength and determination as they move forward.

Injuries can create lasting hardships and often require people to adapt to a new way of life. Yet, time and again, we have witnessed incredible resilience from individuals who not only overcome these challenges but also find ways to grow and achieve meaningful success. This scholarship was created to celebrate that perseverance and to provide a platform for your story.

We invite you to write a short essay about how a preventable accident impacted you or an immediate family member. Reflect on how the injury affected daily life, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially, and share the ways you found resilience, healing, or new purpose.
